AwaHoshi began to teach crystal sound in 1996, as Chrysalis, New Beginnings, in Italy. She devloped a unique, wholistic program of vibrational alignment for both emotional and physical rejuvenation through medium of crystal sound. What has commonly been known in the music industry as the crystal bowls, is actually a scientific instrument, a silicon quartz crucible. These crucibles are presently still used to grow silicon wafers.

She developed and managed a residential wellness center in Sicily for 10 years and has been a featured presenter at the Mind Body Spirit Festivals in England and Australia, Bali Spirit festival and appeared on NBC Health News, USA, BBC and RAI Alternative Medicine television specials. Numerous articles have documented her work internationally for twenty-five years. AwaHoshi’s vision is ‘global transformation’ into a world of Health and Harmony during this time of cosmic awakening. Her academic credentials are- BA Communication Disorders, MA Instructional Technology and post graduate study in Educational Leadership all magna cum laude.
